This morning you will be met from your hotel by your private guide for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza, Dahshur and Saqqara.

After breakfast you'll be taken for a guided tour of the wonderfully disorganised Egyptian Museum, which houses a wealth of Pharaonic treasures.

Today's excursion takes you inside the Citadel and round the imposing Muhammad Ali mosque, before a spot of shopping in the Khan el-Khalili souq.

After being transferred to the airport, you'll catch an internal flight to your hotel on the Red Sea.

You might want to head into the desert around your hotel to explore on camel back today.
