Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to San José & Central Valley. When you arrive in San José you will be met and driven to your hotel in the hills near the city to relax and recover from the flight by the pool.

  • Early in the morning you will be collected via a shared transfer and driven through the Braulio Carrillo National Park, stopping for breakfast soon after and making your way over to the Caribbean coast. Part of the journey to your lodge takes you down the famous canals leading to Tortuguero National Park and this will be your first opportunity to spot wildlife in the water and along the treeline. You will have a group excursion this afternoon.

  • You will get a different view of the park today as you board a light aircraft to fly to the town of La Fortuna, next to the Arenal Volcano. Your private driver will be there to meet you in Arenal and you will have the rest of the day at leisure.
