  • Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Cairo under your own steam. Cairo Museum is a definite highlight, or alternatively explore the souqs.

  • An early start for a private transfer to the airport for your short internal flight to Aswan where you will board your Nile cruise ship. After settling in to your cabin, disembark for a guided trip to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae. You then sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris.

  • Today, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, where your guide takes you through the different halls and antechambers, explaining their significance, before you reach the inner Sanctuary of Horus. You then sail on to Esna and cross its famous lock. The rest of the day is spent sailing to Luxor, watching the rural Nile scenery pass by.

  • This morning visit the West Bank at Luxor. In the Valley of the Kings take the opportunity to go into a tomb, to view the vividly preserved hieroglyphics decorating the walls. You will also visit the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

  • This morning visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor on Luxor's East Bank before catching your flight to Cairo, for your onward journey. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
