Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Marrakesh. Upon arrival into Marrakesh you'll be met at the airport and driven to your riad.

  • Today's journey takes you over the High Atlas Mountains to Taroudant on the spectacular Tizi-n-Test Pass. Part of your journey is by 4x4, which allows you to explore the more remote part of the mountains.

  • Impressive ramparts surround Taroudant, enclosing a bustling medina which you can explore with your private guide, before visiting the nearby village of Tioute.

  • The Souss Valley is home to the arganeraie forests, which are unique to this region of Morocco and are designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Weaving your way on through the forests, you'll stay for a night in Tafraoute.

  • Tafraoute and the surrounding area is home to some weird and wonderful rock formations. Disused Berber granaries perch high on top of the rocks, and can occasionally be spotted from below. You head for the coast through this interesting landscape.

  • After several days of travel you can enjoy some leisure time to relax by the pool, which has exceptional views across the deserted beach below and the Atlantic Ocean.

  • This morning you'll travel north along the coastal road to the Souss-Massa National Park.

  • You may like to explore the tiny fishing villages along the coast today, or take advantage of the hammam and spa facilities at your hotel. Depending on the time of year, the national park is an ornithologist's paradise, full of migrating birds.

  • You have an early start for the transfer to Agadir Airport for the flight to Casablanca and your onward flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
